Pulse Refund Policy
Effective: May 20, 2026
Simple and fair: 14 days for any reason.
This Refund Policy applies to purchases of Pulse made through Lemon Squeezy ("LS"), our merchant of record. It supplements the Terms of Service and, for Japanese consumers, the Notice under the Specified Commercial Transactions Act.
This English version is provided for the convenience of non-Japanese-speaking users. The Japanese version is the binding original; in the event of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.
1. 14-Day Refund Window
We offer a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund window on all purchases of Pulse Pro, Ultra, and Add-ons. If you change your mind for any reason, request a refund within 14 days of your purchase and we will process it via LS.
After the 14-day window, refunds are not available except in the limited circumstances described in Sections 5 and 7.
2. Refund Eligibility by Product
2.1 Pro (one-time purchase)
Within 14 days of purchase: full refund of the amount actually paid (including the Founding price of $25 if applicable).
After 14 days: not refundable.
2.2 Ultra (annual subscription)
Within 14 days of the initial purchase or each annual renewal: full refund of the most recent payment.
After 14 days: the current period is not refundable, but you may cancel auto-renewal to prevent the next charge. You retain access through the end of the current period.
Founding rate forfeit on resubscription: if you cancel an Ultra Founding subscription and later resubscribe, the Founding rate is forfeit and the then-current standard rate will apply. This term is disclosed at the time of purchase.
2.3 Add-ons
Within 14 days of purchase or renewal: full refund.
After 14 days: not refundable for the current period; you may cancel to prevent the next renewal.
2.4 Bundles (including Ultra)
Within 14 days: full refund of the bundle as a whole.
Partial refunds for individual Add-ons within a bundle are not available.
3. How to Request a Refund
Email pulse.contact@tsukulogic.com with the subject line "Refund Request — [Order ID]".
Include your order ID, the product purchased, and (optionally) the reason for the refund.
We will acknowledge your request within 1–2 business days and process the refund through LS.
4. Refund Processing Time
LS processing: typically 5–10 business days from approval.
Card issuer reflection: an additional 3–7 business days, depending on the issuer.

5. Founding Pricing and Refunds
Founding pricing is honored on refunds: you receive the amount you actually paid (for example, $25 for Pro Founding). However, please note:
if you refund a Pro Founding purchase, you lose your Founding-rate eligibility for future purchases unless we, at our discretion, reopen the Founding window;
if you refund or cancel an Ultra Founding subscription, your Founding rate is forfeit on resubscription as described in Section 2.2.
6. Cancellation vs. Refund
These are two different things:
Cancellation stops future renewals. You retain access through the end of the current paid period. No money is returned.
Refund returns money for a payment already made. Eligibility is governed by Sections 1 and 2.
You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through the LS customer portal without contacting us.
7. Exceptions
We will consider refund or remediation outside the standard 14-day window in the following circumstances:
7.1 Duplicate purchases
If you accidentally purchase the same product twice, we will refund the duplicate.
7.2 Material non-conformity (statutory liability)
If the Service fails to materially conform to the description provided at the time of sale and we are unable to remedy the non-conformity within a reasonable period, you may be entitled to a refund or other remedy under applicable consumer-protection law (including, for Japanese consumers, the contractual non-conformity provisions of Articles 562–564 of the Civil Code of Japan and the Consumer Contract Act of Japan). The 14-day window does not limit these statutory rights.
Known beta-period limitations disclosed at the time of purchase do not constitute material non-conformity for purposes of this section.
7.3 Fraud and chargebacks
If we detect fraudulent activity or improper chargebacks, we will not issue a refund and may revoke the affected license. We will explain our reasoning if you contact us.
7.4 Service or Add-on discontinuation
If we discontinue an Add-on or the entire Service in accordance with Sections 11.3 or 11.4 of the Terms of Service, the following refund treatment applies:
Pro (one-time purchase): No refund is issued. In accordance with Section 11.4(a) of the Terms, you will be provided with the final build of the Pulse client for continued offline use. The "all updates included" commitment in Section 4.1 of the Terms is treated as fully satisfied with respect to updates released up to the discontinuation date.
Ultra (annual subscription): A pro-rata refund of the unused portion of your then-current, prepaid subscription period is issued, calculated from the discontinuation effective date.
Add-on subscriptions: A pro-rata refund of the unused portion of your then-current, prepaid subscription period for that Add-on is issued, calculated from the discontinuation effective date.
Bundles: Treated as the sum of their components above; the Pro portion (if any) follows the Pro rule, subscription portions follow the pro-rata rule.
If we assign these Terms to an unrelated third party and you exercise your opt-out right under Section 17 of the Terms, the same pro-rata treatment applies to your then-active subscriptions, calculated from the assignment effective date.
Refunds under this Section 7.4 are processed via Lemon Squeezy in accordance with Sections 3 and 4 of this Refund Policy.
8. Currency and Foreign-Exchange Fees
All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). Refunds are issued in USD via LS. Foreign-exchange differences between the original charge and the refund — caused by fluctuating exchange rates or by your card issuer's fee structure — are not reimbursed by us; please contact your card issuer for details.
